Hidden Invasion, for PlayStation 2, allows players to become the leader of a special forces taskforce that has to confront an eerie alien threat. Set in a world of alien invasions and government coverups, Hidden Invasion features straightforward pick-up-and-play game mechanics and a 2-player cooperative mode. In Hidden Invasion, players play alone or cooperatively with a partner as a member of a special operations team sent in to deal with a mysterious alien threat. Along the way, the mystery unravels as enemies become friends and friends become enemies. Features include interactive destructible environments, innumerable weapons and weapon systems, a dynamic difficulty level that adapts to the development of the players, and advanced A.I, routines. Interestingly enough, the European and American versions of Hidden Invasion removed the anime character designs and humor-inspired storyline of its Japanese counterpart Gun Hearts.
