Rule the rooftops in one of the hottest arcade ports to hit the PlayStation 2, SILENT SCOPE. You take on the role of an elite sniper, moving from position to position. Locate terrorists and other threats from your lofty hideaway and eliminate them. Search the skyline for your enemies, zoom in with the high-powered scope, and squeeze off a headshot. As in other versions of this title, extra points are awarded for good, clean shots. As the PS2 has all the power needed to run the arcade version of the game, very few changes were made to this during the conversion. Some of the bosses are jets and trucks, and there's a boss that uses the president's daughter as a shield, so careful aiming is definitely required. Branching paths are also available, giving the game a ton of replay value. Aside from the story mode, there are two shooting range modes and a training mode, which puts you up against Hogan's Alley-style targets
