Your priority is to defend your land from invaders in RAMPART. The game breaks down into three phases. The building phase has the player build walls around the castles that populate the land. By completely surrounding a castle, the player earns a cannon. In the second phase, the player must position all of the cannons earned in the first phase. Finally, the attack phase commences, and the enemy invades by sea. Aim the cannons and fire at the enemy ships to keep them from making landfall. After the attack phase is over, you must begin again. If you start to beat the computer-controlled competition on a regular basis, challenge your friends to a game with the Two-Player option. Keep your lands safe from the rushing onslaught in RAMPART.
