Get ready for a knock-out punch when you play EA SPORTS FIGHT NIGHT ROUND 3 for the PSP. The game revamps the control system and tweaks several other aspects of game play to create a new, fun, and realistic boxing game. The first major addition to the game is rivalries. As players progress through the matches and become more and more famous, they will invariably make some other boxer unhappy. Players will see these rivals in video clips before and after matches, and, depending on how the game goes, the rivals will change. Some fights may even be affected since rivals tend to fight unfairly or cause some out of the ring drama. Boxing styles have also been tweaked and upgraded in FIGHT NIGHT ROUND 3. Instead of picking from only three options like in the previous game, players now have three categories of options to select from. Movement, punch style, and block style all have many different options under them, giving players dozens of different style combinations. Style also plays a much more important part in the ring, where players will have to rely on strategy, wit, and skill rather than just hitting their opponent over and over again thanks to an AI boost. A few other additions, including tweaks to the haymaker and KO punches, have also been included. Boxing fans also have some online play options and several different gameplay modes as well, making EA SPORTS FIGHT NIGHT ROUND 3 a knock out boxing game.
