Car combat has been done so many times, but rarely has it been done so well. There are six different ground-based vehicles that you can choose to steer around through mission after destructive mission, hunting down enemies for do-or-die confrontations. Of course, you’ll be able to pick up and deploy dozens of different weapons each with distinct destructive capabilities. Unlike many games in the genre, CEL DAMAGE has a wild, comical style that takes the edge off of the carnage, and the animation is some of the most undeniably original stuff ever to hit the small screen. Taking cel shading techniques from television and film, the game combines realistic and cartoon-looking graphics to produce a wholly original product. The enemy AI is staggeringly capable, and it gets more and more impressive with each successive mission.
