Hearken back to the days of medieval times, where kings ruled the land and knights fought for honor and valor. That’s the setting for ROBIN HOOD: Defender of the Crown. It seems that King Richard has been kidnapped, and Prince John quickly assumes the throne, removing Richard’s loyal lords and replacing them with his own. As Robin Hood, you’ll have four principal goals: knock Prince John off the throne, save Maid Marion from the dungeon, free King Richard, and unify England. At the outset of the game, the country is divided into 19 regions, and you must fight to gain control of each one. As you expand your control over more territories, you’ll have to build strongholds to defend them, while at the same time reserving some resources for the ongoing battle for more power. On the battlefield, you’ll issue commands to your units and the fighting plays out in real-time. Eight action-based mini-games will help your cause if you are successful.
