The battle between humans and reploids continues in Capcom’s MEGA MAN ZERO 4 for the GBA. Continuing the story from the previous MEGA MAN ZERO game, ZERO 4 recounts the newest adventures of Zero and his battle to restore peace to the world. Dr. Weil, the game’s villain, has taken over Neo Arcadia. It’s now up to Zero to stop the evil reploids of Neo Arcadia from destroying humanity. Fortunately, Zero has some new abilities, weapons, and Cyber Elf programs to help him defeat the reploids and Dr. Weil. One of Zero’s new powers is his ability to take enemies’ weapons. Using the weapon seizing system, Zero can s***** weapons or parts from his enemies as he defeats them and equip them as a sub-weapon. Players can also use these parts as components in the item recipe system to create new chips and other items. Another new option Zero will gain as the game progresses is the ability to control the weather system. This changes the level layout and can give players access to new areas. Changing the weather to winter, for example, will drop snow down on spike-filled pits. Finally, players can create a customized Cyber Elf to help Zero, choosing from healing, attacking, and stat-boosting options. Fans of the side-scrolling adventures of Zero and the MEGA MAN ZERO storyline won’t want to miss this installment in the series. MEGA MAN ZERO 4 provides all the MEGA MAN action gamers love.
